As artificial intelligence becomes part of everyday business and digital infrastructure, Kruthik Jadhav is building a career focused on making intelligent systems practical, reliable, and useful in the real world.
Kruthik Jadhav, an NYU School of Professional Studies graduate with a Master of Science in Management and Systems, brings together experience in computer science, AI and software research, product management, cybersecurity, and technology leadership. His work reflects a growing need in the technology sector for professionals who can understand advanced systems while also guiding how products are designed, built, tested, and used.
Currently, Kruthik Jadhav works as a Technical Product Manager at a startup, where he helps lead the development of a marketplace platform from concept to launch. His role includes defining product requirements, shaping user workflows, coordinating technical development, and translating business needs into platform features.
For Kruthik Jadhav, product leadership is not only about managing features. It is about understanding why a system is being built and who it is meant to serve.
“What drew me to this mix was the fact that I never saw technology as just code,” Kruthik Jadhav said. “I was always interested in how software systems are built, but I was equally interested in why they are being built and who they are helping.”
That perspective has shaped how Kruthik Jadhav approaches startup product development. Building a marketplace platform, he explained, requires far more than turning an idea into a working website or application. Behind a simple user experience, there are many connected decisions involving onboarding, authentication, user flows, listings, referrals, shipping, trust, and backend functionality.
“The most challenging part has been realizing how many details sit behind what looks like a simple product idea,” Kruthik Jadhav said. “A marketplace platform sounds straightforward at first, but once you start building it, every feature connects to another part of the system.”
Kruthik Jadhav said startup environments also force product teams to make clear choices about what matters most. There are usually more ideas than time, so early product development depends on prioritisation, testing, and continuous improvement.
In addition to his startup product role, Kruthik Jadhav works as an independent contractor with a major human data project supporting AI model improvement. He was promoted into a reviewer role due to high demand for his skill set. In that role, Kruthik Jadhav reviews and evaluates the work of AI domain experts, provides feedback, and helps maintain quality standards for work connected to a top frontier AI lab.
That experience has given Kruthik Jadhav a close view of the human judgment required behind advanced AI systems.
“From the outside, people often think of AI only in terms of models, automation, and data, but there is a lot of review and quality control behind the scenes,” Kruthik Jadhav said. “Strong AI systems are not built by technology alone. They also depend on people who can review, question, and improve the work with care.”
Kruthik Jadhav’s research interests include artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, software vulnerability detection, and intelligent systems. He has contributed to research involving automated software vulnerability detection and driver behavior detection systems. His work on driver behavior detection used computer vision to identify risks such as distraction and fatigue, showing how intelligent systems can move from technical design into practical safety applications.
“That project helped me understand how intelligent systems can move from theory into something that has a direct effect on people’s safety,” Kruthik Jadhav said. “It is not only about building a model that performs well technically, but about whether the system can help people in real situations.”
Kruthik Jadhav believes intelligent systems can have significant value in areas such as transportation, healthcare, infrastructure, and risk detection when they are designed responsibly and tested carefully.
Cybersecurity is another area Kruthik Jadhav sees as increasingly important as AI becomes embedded in more products and digital systems. He argues that security can no longer be treated as a separate layer added after development. It has to be considered from the beginning.
“Cybersecurity is becoming more important because AI is now being added into systems that people and organizations rely on every day,” Kruthik Jadhav said. “A weakness in software can create a much bigger problem when the system is connected to sensitive data, automation, or large-scale digital infrastructure.”
Kruthik Jadhav has also been invited by the Program Chair of IEEE MLSP 2026 to serve as a conference reviewer, evaluating research submissions in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and signal processing. He sees the role as both a professional milestone and a responsibility to support research quality.
“Reviewing research is not just about reading a paper,” Kruthik Jadhav said. “It requires evaluating the originality of the work, the strength of the methodology, the clarity of the contribution, and whether the research has value for the field.”
For Kruthik Jadhav, the reviewer role connects his technical interests with the broader research community. It also reflects his long-term goal of working across AI research, technology leadership, startup innovation, and intelligent systems.
Looking ahead, Kruthik Jadhav wants to focus on problems where AI and software systems can make products safer, smarter, and more reliable. His interests include software security, scalable intelligent systems, and products that can work effectively outside controlled research settings.
“My goal is not just to work in AI because it is a fast-growing field,” Kruthik Jadhav said. “I want to apply it in areas where it can create real value, whether that means improving cybersecurity, building better product systems, or making intelligent tools more dependable.”
As AI continues to reshape software, business, and public safety, Kruthik Jadhav’s career reflects a broader shift in the technology industry. The most useful systems are not built by technical skill alone. They require product judgment, research discipline, security awareness, and a clear understanding of the people who will use them.
For Kruthik Jadhav, that is the space where meaningful technology is built: not just in code, but in the connection between systems, users, and real-world impact.
