Baristabarbar Coffee School in London is an exceptional institution in the fast-growing coffee culture within this city, where many people are in search of the best cup of coffee. Established in 2009, Baristabarbar has offered the most comprehensive barista  training courses to fans and industry professionals alike, in central London.

As a leading coffee school, it was voted among the top five providers of barista courses and training in the world. The barista courses include the art of coffee roasting to the perfect espresso shot extraction. The school offers the most intensive barista courses one can imagine. Its courses are designed to teach inspire and cultivate a deep understanding of the coffee craft including covering the craft of latte art.

There is always a high demand for its programs, often fully booked weeks in advance.  To celebrate 15 years in the coffee business, they have recently added new courses.

Some of the recent additions, include coffee profiling and coffee cupping and advanced latte art classes. The new courses to be presented are aimed to provide participants with a new enhanced level of knowledge about coffee types and the approaches to  coffee cupping. Expansion to an additional building in East London is evidence of Baristabarbar’s willingness to satisfy the increasing demand for their top of the range barista training programmes. Baristabarbar is also a coffee roaster and is offering placements for those wanting to learn the art of coffee roasting through apprenticeships that assist with the depth of the barista training so that graduates are industry ready when they complete the barista courses.

Baristabarbar is also planning to celebrate its 15th anniversary with a series of talks and seminars on coffee that will be held around the UK.

Ian Sinclair from Baristabarbar said “It is hard to believe that its been 15 years. Baristabarbar was started by Australians who came to London to bring their coffee culture here. We were the first to offer barista training and latte art classes weekly in central London. We have trained literally thousands of baristas in London. I think we can say that we helped to shape the coffee industry in London.”

Baristabarbar is planning a coffee tour of the UK in October celebrating its anniversary and also celebrating the new wave of coffee that has taken hold in the UK.

As Sinclair puts it “We arrived. We set up the barista courses and showed that you needed real knowledge to master coffee. Its not easy to get the perfect espresso shot and its not easy to do latte art. However Baristabarbar changed the coffee scene in the UK. It has been an incredible experience.”
